Life Of Nora Zollar

I was born  Nora Rae Zollar, born December 17 1957.  I'm a native of Los Angeles, California.  The eldest child of Mr. Oliver and Norma Jean Taylor, my paternal father  Ellis Ray Zollar (deceased).  The first of six siblings  Norman , Adrienne (deceased), Kevin, Ju Juan, and Oliver Jr. with a host of nieces and nephews. I am a soulful R/B singer who simply singer sings with passion from the heart, with the anointing God has given me to bless others. I began singing at the age of 10 years in the youth choir at the Lewis Metropolitan CME Church located in south central Los Angeles, Ca. , moving onto the Good Shepherd Missionary Baptist Church also located in South Central Los Angeles.  Sang several solos as a member of  the school's choir in my senior year while attending Crenshaw High School.  I has also performed as lead soloist for the Universal World Church located in Los Angeles on channel 56 in the late 80s, placed 2nd in a singing contest located at The El Reys hosts by Steve Harvey and J Anthony Brown March 5, 2005 to a band that had no singer performing. a classic by the late great Phyllis Hyman No One Can Love You More.  Perform another classic by the fabulous Natalie Cole Inseparable for the graduating class of Lavern University, also was invited to sing at the Christmas Celebration for the City of Los Angeles.
